Learn the latest information on rapidly changing access to New York state vital records indexes. In the past, indexes to New York’s birth, marriage, and death records were held on microfiche at eleven locations across New York, necessitating in-person research.
In the past 18 months those indexes have become available online. This webinar will discuss how the accessibility changed and where and how to access the indexes today.
