The NYG&B’s annual series, Preservation in Action, spotlights leaders and trailblazers whose innovative work inspires, educates, and has a lasting impact on the genealogy and family history field. The NYG&B debuted this series in 2024.  

Each year under a different theme, the NYG&B selects a cohort of honorees and recognizes the significant contributions they have made on behalf of the family histry community. Throughout the year, we share insights from our honorees and highlight their achievements in various ways, including at a panel discussion with NYG&B President D. Joshua Taylor.
