Greene County Religious Records

This collection contains digitized genealogy records from churches in Greene County, New York.

The images in this collection are digitized volumes of transcriptions created by NYG&B Archivist Royden Woodward Vosburgh in the early 1900s. Some of the images can be searched; others can only be browsed.

In his volumes of compiled transcriptions, Vosburgh included valuable information beyond names and dates – researchers may find church or religious denomination histories, as well as newspaper articles, maps, and other historical documents related to the congregation.

Make sure to explore interested volumes beyond the pages that contains names and dates of interest.

Some volumes are searchable, others can only be browsed by image.
