Explore Surprising Records from Across New York State

Digitize New York has captured more than one million scans of records held by libraries, historical societies, and archives across the state. Along the way, the team has found records few researchers knew existed.

Anna Gardner, Manager, Digitize New York, shares some of the most unusual finds she's discovered throughout the project, from guest books to dairy records to ice skates. She explains what each record can reveal about New Yorkers and how you can use similar resources in your own research.

This program is a replay of Anna’s presentation from the 2026 New York State Family History Conference, followed by a live Q&A with Anna.

This is a free online webinar, but registration is required.
