We’ll discuss identifying your ancestor’s birth town, the different types of records available online and where to find them, as well as working with Italian civil records.

About the presenter

Franchesca is a professional genealogist specializing in Italian research. She holds a certificate in genealogical research from Boston University and is on the teaching team for BU’s Genealogical Principles Course.

Franchesca has been involved with Italian research for over thirty years and looks forward to her next research trip to Italy!
