As part of its Heritage Tours program, the NYG&B is offering an exclusive guided tour of the Netherlands, August 30–September 5, 2026. This tour includes a group guide for the five-day tour; hotel accommodations; breakfast each day; travel to attractions; and museum tickets. You’ll also have time to explore the rich heritage and history of sites at your leisure.
Aided by on-site experts and anchored in Amsterdam, experience the extensive history and connections between New York and the Netherlands as we explore and learn through a week of private tours, educational events, and sightseeing. Highlights include visiting Amsterdam’s City Archives, with its treasure trove of more than 750 years of history; The Hague, the administrative capital of the country and home to the Dutch royal family; Rotterdam, Europe's largest seaport; and other unique experiences. And together we will also explore Leiden, where we will walk in the footsteps of Pilgrim ancestors.
This tour will also be led by John Boeren, a scholar on the NYG&B’s New Netherland Settlers initiative and one of the few full-time genealogy professionals in the Netherlands, with more than 35 years of experience.
Register online or contact Jen Davis at 212-755-8532 x208 or jdavis@nygbs.org for additional details and questions. The deadline for registration is April 30, 2026.
