In my g-g-grandmother's obituary it states she was born in New Jerusalem, Long Island.Is this possibly Hempstead? She was Bedell from a long line of the family. Her nephew lived for many years at the old Bedell home/farm in Bellmore.I cannot fina anything about New Jerusalem. Any ideas??
