I am researching information on my grandfather Joseph F. Condon born in the Bronx New York September 25, 1878 at
630 E 169th Street. Baptized on October 28 1878. Deceased March 22, 1940 in Bronx, New York. Buried at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers, New York. Married Grace Meehan August 16, 1916 at Holy Spirit Church University Avenue Bronx, New York by Catholic priest FR. John O'Brien. First graduating class of CCNY attended New York Law School near Park

My Osborne ancestors removed from Connecticut to Hudson sometime in the late 18th to early 19th century. I have located the grave of Henry P. Osborne (b. 1802 d. 1857), his wife Mary Benham Osborne (b. 1804 d. 1886) and it also includes their son Thomas B. Osborne (b. 1831 d. 1871) in Hudson. However, I cannot conclusively determine the father of Henry. The best candidate is a Nathan Osborne who may have lived in Greene County prior to Hudson. Adding to confusion is that there appears to be 2 Nathan Osborne's from Greene County, and Connecticut prior to that.

There seems to be some conflicting theories as to which Phebe Walling is the daughter of Inman and Susannah (Aka Anna, Amy) Smith Walling. Inman was born about 1735 in New Jersey and died in Minisink, Orange, New York, his wife, Susannah Smith was born 1749 in Minisink, Orange, New York and died about 1810 also in Minisink. They had a daughter Phebe born in 1775 (I have seen March 31, May 1, and May 31). The following Phebe Wallings are claimed to be the daughter of Inman and Susannah Walling.

I'm looking for information on Eli Higgins who was apparently born in New York in 1791 but no documentation until his enlisting in the War of 1812

I'm interested to see if anyone has information on Alice Louisa Hendrickson Hensler. She was born in 1849 and died on January 18, 2915 in Inwood, NY. She was first married to Richard M. Hendrickson (1846-1881). After Richard died in Missouri, she moved back to NY with her two kids (Flora and William) and married Frederick Hensler (1842-1920) in 1885, and had more children with him.

John Crothers, my 5th ggf, appears to have come from Co Down around 1755, married Betsy Baity/Beatty of Orange, NY, had ~8 children, supplied the Continental Army with supplies in 1778, when he lived in Little Britain, moved to Phelps in 1796, and died in 1798.
I'm am working to find as much as I can about him and would love to find someone else researching the Crothers/Carothers/Carruthers family.

john k dean was born in 1826 in tompkins county, likely in newfield or possibly ithaca......he married sophia brown in benton, yates county in 1851 and died in benton in 1907.....i have several records regarding his life in yates county but cannot find a record or documents that identify his parents......that is my brick wall......i have exhausted, as far as i know, all record depositories in new york, including state, county, municipal and church records, historical newspapers, local historical societies and historians.......i have no information about john k deans parents, siblings, etc..

I am doing research of the Place family on Huntington, Long Island, NY. I am looking for more concrete documents to support that Henry Brush Place (1819-1870) was the son of Joseph Place (Nov 1777-21 Apr 1839) and Ruth Brush (8 Jun 1781-13 Oct 1856). So far, I've only found census records of Henry's family, cemetery inscriptions of Joseph and Ruth, and history of Ruth's Brush family.
