About the presenter

Renée drew her first family tree in grade school, but chose a career path in education policy and politics, before switching to genealogy full time in 2012, launching Eastern European Mutt.

Renée researched for PBS’s Genealogy Roadshow, Seasons 2 & 3, and is currently working with private clients. She regularly researchers at the National Archives, Library of Congress, and U.S. Holocaust Memorial and Museum.

Renée is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, and of course, the NYG&B.
