The German Genealogy Group's April presentation is “The Geissenhainers, Influential Luthern Pastors of New York City—Their Lives and Legacy to the Genealogical Community” by Bob Greiner, GGG  member. This presentation will describe the lives of the pastors, the records they produced, and their contributions to society.

It will also examine the early history of St. Matthew's and St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Churches. Bob Greiner has been researching his family history for over 25 years. He specializes in the analysis of German church records, including handwritten Gothic script.
An  orientation session for beginners and newcomers will be held at 7 PM and the regular meeting will start at 7:30. We welcome all who are interested in researching their Germanic origins.

There is no fee for guests and all are welcome.
