Thursday, May 5, 2016 - 4:00pm

Great news! NYG&B members now have access to over 10 million new US marriage records on Findmypast! The records contain more than 30 million names, nearly 1 million of which have never before been published online and can only be found at Findmypast!  The new collection includes significant additions from New York.

Findmypast announced today at the 2016 National Genealogical Society Conference the release of the second installment of their ambitious project in which they will digitize and publish the single largest online archive of U.S. marriages in history.  (The first installment was announced in February.)  When complete, the collection will cover 360 years of marriages from 1650-2010, will contain at least 100 million records and more than 450 million names from 2,800 counties across America.

Access to the US and Canadian subscription to Findmypast is a benefit of NYG&B membership.  Visit our website to learn more about our partnership.
