Description: RATHBUN/RATHBONE/RATHBURN. Bienniel Rathbun/Rathbone/Rathburn reunion will be held 1-6 July 2011, at The DoubleTree Hilton Crystal City, Arlington Virginia. These families descend from John and Margaret (Acres) Rathbone, original settlers of Block Island, Rhode Island, in the late 1600s. These families spread westward in early 1800s into New York and beyond. Full range of activities: Welcome reception; tours of Washington and monuments; fireworks; Ford’s Theater (Major Rathbone was Lincoln’s aide that fateful night.); Washington museums; Arlington Cemetery; and a farewell banquet.
