The only way to begin tracing your genealogy is to begin with yourself and work outward, one generation at a time. You must work from the known into the unknown. This lecture will provide the basic building blocks for thsoe who may have recently begun or are anxious to begin tracing their family's history.
This event is part of the Branch Library Series [1], jointly sponsored by the NYG&B and NYPL, and consists of two lectures held back to back: Harvest Genealogical Bounties and Reap More Genealogical Bounties. FREE and no registration is necessary.
