Membership Information
The G&B is
a membership organization, and new members are always welcome. Benefits
of membership include subscriptions to our two quarterly publications,
the Record and the Researcher,
and discounts on other publications; four free queries
per year in the Researcher (also reprinted on our website); access
to the NYG&B Community Bulletin Board; remote access to
Early American Newspapers, the NYG&B eLibrary
&B's website*; a discount membership to WorldVitalRecords.com; and reduced fees for educational programs.
The New York
Genealogical and Biographical Society is a tax-exempt organization
under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Society considers
membership dues to be tax-deductible, except for the first $30.
Membership in the NYG&B
Not a member but you love family history? Join us. The NYG&B warmly welcomes members and offers them significant benefits. The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society is a tax-exempt organization under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Â For tax purposes, the non-deductible portion of membership dues is $30.Â

Life Membership: $1,500.00 
A onetime payment of $1,500 provides life membership privileges for
one individual. An individual membership includes a lifetime subscription
to the Record and the Researcher,

NYG&B's website, four free queries
per year in the Researcher and on our website, discounts on other
Society publications, and educational programs.
Joint Annual
Membership: $90.00 
A joint membership is entitled to one subscription to the Record
and the Researcher, four

Joint Life
Membership: $2,250.00 
A onetime payment of $2,250 provides life membership privileges for
