National Archives Northeast Region

Patrick Connelly, Archivist, will provide an overview of their latest release Records of the Provost Marshall (Civil War). Attendees will be assisted in their research by Education Committee members and NARA staff.

New York City Municipal Archives

Leonora A. Gidlund, Director, will welcome registrants and Education Committee member, Art Simpson, will provide an introduction to the large assortment of vital records, city directories, photographs, voters’ records, etc. The otherwise closed archives will then be available for assisted research.
